I grew up in rural Nevada where I fell in love with my beautiful wife. I managed to escape the poverty of my youth; attended community college and then the University of Nevada Reno. I studied computer science engineering, which provided a very useful and broad education about physics, math and engineering. My professional career as a software engineer has spanned both private and public sectors, including experience in State government.

My in-laws introduced me to politics through community involvement when I was younger, which ignited a spark of interest and passion. How does society have so many problems that are easily fixable? It’s because of greed and corruption, plain and simple.

Ten years ago my wife and I moved to Carson City, a community that we have grown to love. Last summer I had the pleasure of delivering our beautiful daughter, Juniper. This turned on the afterburners; leading me to run for office in order to help ensure that Nevada does not rank last in education for another decade, among other things. Children are the leaders of tomorrow, and we need to invest in them. All children should have healthcare, a good education and free meals at school.

When I am not working I am usually changing diapers or cooking dinner for the family, playing with our two dachshunds, or frequenting the local gym. I enjoy cooking and especially a good BBQ. I also enjoy taking care of my beautiful yard and improving my house when I get the chance.
